DOR-Appraiser I, Equalization
This is technical field work involving investigation and analysis of data in appraisals of residential, agricultural, commercial, and personal properties. Appraisers use market, cost, and income approaches in evaluating total property value, and assist in compiling economic and cost studies.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with courses in Business Administration, Real Estate, Economics, Engineering, Law, or other related fields and one (1) year of experience in related work. Related experience may be substituted for education.
Revenue Specialist I
This work involves processing various tax returns and forms. The processing includes verifying correct tax rates, deductions, diversions, and mathematical calculations. Tax Processors may prepare journal entries, adjust problem returns, review and correct print-outs, and assist taxpayers with tax matters.
